Presentation: Planning Department Development Activity Report DISCUSSION Planning Staffis presenting an update and reformat of the existing Directors Report into a new Development Activity Report format. One of the reasons for the new report and summary sheet is directly related to a higher volume of projects within the Town and how to keep all interested parties informed with up-to-date information. In addition the new format will increase the readability of the information and provide an overview summary of all development activities by project type. The new format includes a summary sheet of activity as well as a report of detailed project information by project type. The new report format is in chronological order and highlights new projects that have been submitted. The summary sheet is also in chronological order and allows for a quick reference to the detailed report that follows. The new report format also provides the ability to list project contact information, last date of activity, and a more in-depth status reporting function is also now available. Both the report and summary sheet are now in color and will provide for a more effective color coding approach to reporting development activity within the Town. The new report and summary sheet will also now include all Tenant Improvement projects within the Town in the same format. This new format will allow staff to keep development activity information more current and it will also provide an easier, singular method to track project information. The new report and summary sheet is more adaptable and can easily be provided as a shared resource on multiple types of platforms. Since all data will be compiled in a singular location it will also provide for a more concise method for project data entry and tracking. The new Development Activity Report will also be posted on the Planning Department website.
