HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2007-218 ratifying design approval for silverbell animal medical centerMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2007-218 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; RATIFYING DESIGN APPROVAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS SILVERBELL ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the overlay district for the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District on December 16, 2003 (Ordinance No. 2003.27), located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Dr. Kim Perkins is the owner of approximately 2.2 acres generally located on the eastside of Silverbell Road approximately 0.5 miles north of Cortaro Road, within a portion of Section 27, Township 12 South, and Range 12 East; located within the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District, and has applied to the Town of Marana for design review approval for a veterinary center; and WHEREAS, the Manager's Design Review Committee met on November 7, 2007 and recommended approval of the Silverbell Animal Medical Center; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have considered the application at the regular Town Council meeting held December 4, 2007 and has determined that the recommendation of approval by the Silverbell Road Corridor Overlay District Manager's Design Review Committee for Silverbell Animal Medical Center should be ratified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the recommendation of the Manager's Design Review Committee regarding the design for the Silverbell Animal Medical Center is hereby ratified with the following conditions: 1. The metallic roof color is changed to "champagne" with the fascia color matching the wall. 2. "Wire mesh filled with stone" not to be used on the building walls but could be used as a pillar. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 40' day of December, 2007. -,A
